Hi , I've got a 78 550 as well. I really like the indication lights (neutral etc) where are they from? And where did you hide the ignition?

It has 2 extra pipe attachments that I have now tried to seal 3 times...all unsuccessful. I have a lead on a guy in South Carolina who seems to have the right part. Won't get here for another week though. I was hoping my sealing job would at least let me ride until then.

Yep, it's a chromed up tank off a 1978 CB750. Got it from Noel and it's the twin of the one he has on his 550. The bad news is, I woke up this morning to find the petcock had spit gas all over the garage floor last night.......grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Back to the drawing board.

It lives!!!! Just went for the happiest ride around the block I've had in awhile. Hope to see you all tomorrow night.

Well, here she is cafe'd up so far. Still more to do but she is just about rideable so the rest will wait til winter. Just need to sort out a small petcock issue and I could see you guys Thursday.

I got my new chrome tank (thanks Noel!) and clubmans etc all on the bike by 6:00 yesterday and was all set to ride into townthen......flat battery. Next week I am there.
