You did good bro. Just for your reference: I paid $500 for my cb750(certainly a bit of a steal), and it was in a lot better shape than that bike is, but not running. I had it running within 45 mins of bringing it home.

Unless he comes down somewhat significantly (to +-$1000), I'd pass. My dad lives in Houston, and he was just GIVEN a cb350 a few months ago. Its not nearly in the shape that ^^that one is in, but still. I personally think $1500 can get you a lot better than that, but that'd be a great bike to...

I'm in college, and my bike stays at my brother's place 70 miles away, so I carry a tool bag that has a shoulder strap with me basically anytime I'm going there or anywhere else. It's heavy as shit, but has all the basics, and a few electrical items as well. It's saved me and a few of my friends...

See that's the other thing that bothers me about it! My brother works as a Network Security IT guy for a good sized energy company here in Oklahoma, and one of the first things they do when looking to hire a new employee is to look them up on FB.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one stepping away from the it/the crowd.

I'm so sick of dealing with all the problems it seems to cause. DTT will now be my only form of social interaction on the internet. You guys are so much more chill, and I don't have to deal with my Aunt seeing the crap that my college roommate posts on my fb wall.

I'm still working on mine, but my temporary plan is to just have them in my backpack since it goes everywhere with me.
