    The most desirable CB...?

Nothing special, I just have a soft spot for really small fours. Still want to get a CBR250 one of these days as well :)

    Bellytankers... How I love thee!

Great stuff :) Rotaries ought to be a good idea but SCTA rules handicap them (they don't think they do, but they do. They should have a 2x displacement multiplier but the SCTA gives them 3x.).

    Wretched XS

Yesterday I carted home my first cafe project, a 1980 XS850. Itsa heavy beast ;D Here's what it looked like: After some feverish wrenching, here it is de-crapified: The plan is to get the basics in place over this winter, i.e. seat, clip-ons, rearsets, exhaust, paint, and various...

    finally a new 400cc middleweight, and it's a triple!

Vento 400 Cafe GT Reminds me a lot of the old Bandit 400. Distribution is basically non-existant yet, but this would surely fill a hole in the market that's been open for way too long :)

    TOO MANY HONDAS!

I just appreciate the fact that "what you like" and "what you happen to find" intersect so frequently and happily in the cafe world :)

How do you decide on your projects?

Or how did you decide on your last project? As one who has yet to start a project, having just started riding this year on a newish bike, I'd be interested to hear the stories of how you happened to end up with what you're working on now. There's a great variety represented here, for sure. Do...
