Hey,
I am really in the same boat as you and so far I have found that everything works it just isn't working correctly!! The big thing here is spark. If you can get spark then the coils/ condensor/ points/ plugs/ plug caps are operable. If you want a way to check your coils without a...
I thought I might have missed something there ... makes sense now. Are you going to black out the headlight lens as well? Powdered bolts??? That is freakin' nutz ... :D
Ha ha ha ... Dr. House is awesome and if you are anything like him then YOU ARE THE MAN. Please tell me you have the cane too!! Didn't House ride a Ducati for a bit on the show??
This bike is gonna be crazy ... I was looking over your pics of the front end and noticed the fork covers. If the tubes are nice and shiny why not show them off? I just think there might be too much black. Can't wait to see it all together though.
Interested, so keep uploading to photobucket and share damn it!! I was expecting a cookie cutter bike here, please make it painfully obvious when it appears ... thank you. ;D

Re: 1975 Yamaha XS500B Cafe Project (TX500) - Thoughts, Comments, Suggestions

I am 99% sure I will be there. If I can get Betty running by next weekend she will be registered and there as well. Even if not running I can just coast her down the hill cuz I live right across the river in Oakland. Don't know how I could get her back up though :) :) :) But bike or not I...
Re: Spark6's CB350 -- registration questions (Please help!)
Hey, just reading through your post and thought I might throw this out there.
VIN's didn't exist for motorcycles until 1981 I believe so anything before that was basically a model # stamp and production number by the manufacture, for...
If the only thing "wrong" with the cylinders is the broken fin just JB Weld the lil' fooker back on to save your money. No one will be able to tell ... I guess except for us since you already told us.
Fooookin' sweet ... it is one thing to post up pics but another to see this bad boy in action. Great work ... I have been watching your build for awhile and have to say definitely not ratty anymore. Great job!!
Long time watcher first time poster to this thread ... let me know if this is out of line.
