May need to fine tune your carbs to prevent additional bluing. Thruxtons and Triumphs run too lean in general to meet US emission standards. Here's a good thread on blue pipes on a Thruxton. I love the bike. Simply beautiful. I hope you have many years of enjoyment on her. Cheers
