    CT70 restomod/grom killer

I have bad habits. Since my first project (which was a terrible example of a CB360 cafe racer) I’ve had exactly 39 motorcycles. This bike is number 34. You know when you drive so far for a craigslist post that you feel obligated to buy? Well that’s what happened here. There were no pictures...

Where the hell are the 15 inch tires

I know this isn't exactly cafe related, but I just bought a 1978 Yamaha GT80, and I can't find a front tire for it anywhere. It came with a 14 inch rear and a 15 inch front. I've searched high and low for a 15 inch front dirtbike tire, and have come up empty. 14 and 16 are no problem. Does...

An idiot bought my old bike

I had a 1979 cb650 that was in near pristine condition two years ago... Now it looks like this and this is the kids plan I've posted about this bike before but couldn't find the original thread.

    DT100 restomod

Just bought a 1974 DT100 and I'm having trouble finding ANY info about it. Can't find manuals, builds, recommendations on what to mod, weak points/strong points, maintenance tips, etc. Already replaced the old bars with pro-tapers, will soon be fixing the front wheel and replacing bearings...

Harley AMF ss175 TOP END SWAP

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a 1976 ss175. Weird questions, but does anyone know if the jugs/cylinder and head off of a ss125 would be a straight swap?

Cb360 running video: how sounds the bike

Is this excessive valve noise? I lifted a tappet cover and there's plenty of oil getting to the top, just wondering if this sounds good, because I've never heard the thing running. I'll be readjusting valves again today and Seeing if there's a difference, but they should be properly set...

    Ct90 stalls out

Okay, my 1969 ct90 has a very specific problem. It starts first kick, choke on, and I can quickly switch it off and it will idle. It will rev, but as soon as I put any load on it (try to move) it dies. It will get going if I leAve the choke on. What is this indicative of? I've bought a $25...

    Cb200 charging issue

Okay, so I'm looking at buying a cb200 (1976 I think) It was stripped and the frame powder coated professionally, and the engine has been rebuilt, new pistons, gaskets, etc. It runs pretty well minus this one charging issue. Prior to riding it, the battery read 12.5v, after the ride it...

    CT90 carb help

Unfortunately this is the 1969 model with the rare carb. I can't find an IPB of this carb. Any help with that would be amazing, but here is my current issue... What is this and where does it go? It came in a small separate package from the other gaskets with these other two Orings that fit...

    New house

Moved in with the lady. I no longer have a man cave and shed to work in, but I think the new digs will motivate me to get more work done, at least until school starts. The CT90 has a crankcase full of gasoline and the CB360 has the head and wiring harness off, among other things. w00t w00t!

    Bought a CT90!

The reasons for this purchase were many. My girlfriend is lazy and doesn't want to ride a bike to class. I'm lazy and don't want to drive her. I love Honda motorcycles and working on them. My laziness, her laziness, and my passion have collided at an intersection and this ct90 is the resulting...

    Backfiring when cranking

I'm trying to get my bike cranked for the first time. Battery is good, compression is good, getting spark on both plugs, fuel is being delivered and the carbs were set up by our own crazypj. I'm getting an occasional backfire/fire shooting out the header, strong smell of fuel. The plugs come...

    Stainless lines, Superbike bars CB360

Anybody have this setup or something similar? I'm ordering from slingshot soon and I want to get the banjo brake switch and speed bleeders as well. And a few questions... Does anyone have a picture of their setup? How long a hose did you order? How did you manage the wiring? Is one of those...

    CB360 seats

I have two CB360 seats, both in decent shape. One small tear on each seat, barely noticable. I've seen some people take pristine seats and chop them up, I was seeing if maybe there was someone out there that wants mine instead. WTT both for a good stock seat with no tears.

    Tool Borrowing/Pass-around?

I don't know if this kind of thing goes on here, but I was thinking this morning, this website is full of so many helpful people and I haven't had any issues buying or selling from guys on here... why don't we do this sort of thing? There are many specialty tools that rarely get used, bearing...

    Yamaha DT400 help

My room mate just picked up this bike for about $200. Good compression, been sitting in a barn for 15 years, lights and gauges have been removed, and there's a nice rat nest in the battery box. What are the go-to things that need to be done before a bike like this should be run. I'm talking...

    Cheaper K&N filters for CB360

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post, so move me if need be. I've noticed everyone seems to complain about how expensive K&N filters are, so I did some research and found a universal K&N filter that has an inner flange diameter of 49mm, which is the outer flange diameter of the...

    Fork seal emergency

Went to replace my fork seals, one came out no problem, on the other the rubber/plastic part has crumbled away, leaving the metal ring, which has (with desperate prying) flipped outwards. I have no idea how to get this thing out. I've tried grabbing with needle nose vice grips, prying, etc...
