You all are lucky to be so near. Then again, everything seems much closer up north. I think I'd be a bit more motivated if I had some others to wrench around with. Most everyone around here is into Harleys and choppers and they don't build them, they buy 'em all fancy. I rarely see older bikes unless they are BMWs. So, we have the upper middle class weekend warrior Harley guys in chaps and vests, and aging hipster gen X'ers and baby boomers with old BMW bikes and plastic wives. Again, they don't wrench, they take their bikes to the hip shop with an espresso machine. Most of the guys my age with common interests don't even know how to change a tire. I get looks of disgust when I talk about shooting guns and buying gas guzzling vehicles.
