As long as both valves are closed when its on the T mark. The T comes around twice per cycle. Once on the exhaust stroke then again on the compression stroke.

Now, you got me thinking Im gonna double check mine! lol ;D
Shit, I'm gonna check mine when I get back in town too... I wasn't paying any attention to the valves. Except when I set them, but that was a different time.

Just glad I could help out a fellow CB'er.

Re: Rachels, 72 CL100, Cleared.

OK here is my personal product review of spraying spray max 2k clear.

This stuff is fantastic to spray. It comes out of can smooth and even.

It gives itself time to "melt in" the overspray.

I should have bought atleast 3 cans to do a "proper" job.

2 rounds, 2 coats each round. 4 coats total w one can.

I still have the second can...so I may just lightly 1500 grit, wet sand tank and side covers and re-coat them.

After an hour in the morning sun its dry to touch. & virtually a mirror shine.

Im impressed considering how F-ed up this whole paint job went.

Right now it looks better in person than pics. If the paint was a dark color it would be mind blowing.

Re: Rachels, 72 CL100, HALF TON VIDEO!

Thanks so much guys! Im delighted w it.

Things to do list.

1. The flashers work great...when the headlight is off. Not so well w headlight on. Find a fix. :p

2. Duct tape isnt so nice looking. ::) So, New seat cover/foam for now. Then this winter we will work on a better seat design.

3. MAYBE, paint chain guard and sprocket silver to match engine.

4. Steering stem bearings, when fork springs arrive back from chrome shop.

5. RIDE the shit out of MY OWN BIKE! ;D

Re: Rachels, 72 CL100, HALF TON VIDEO!

OH and reading the manual yesterday. I found "turn the A/F mix screw IN for richer."

Opposite of my 360 carbs. ::)

How close is the seat size to a stock 360? I have a stock 360 cover that's pretty damn near perfect I can send your way.

Those are called Dyna-Beads, and as trek said they work best in tubeless, not tubes.

Pulling up a past part of this thread. I had a new tire mounted for my sport bike yesterday, it's tubeless. I didn't know until I picked it up that the guy doesn't do a regular balance. He put the beads in there. I'm unsure about how it will work, but am going for a ride later today. I'll let you know.

Re: Rachels, 72 CL100, GOTTA LOVE YOUR KIDS!!!

I know guys who use beads in tubeless tires and Love em! Just dont put them inside tubes.

Gotta love being a parent.

Just as I was tightening the last bolt on the 100. :D
My darling daughter slid her Honda Fit off the fresh chip and tar, through the ditch and harvested 30 feet of corn.

As luck would have it, a County Sheriff was following a couple hundred yards behind her. Knew she was not speeding or driving recklessly. So, no ticket. ;D

I got it backed out of the field and The cop let me drive it. Stopped by my favorite Auto shop ...

$3000.00 WTF ?!?! It had broke some welds and bent cross member/radiator support, smashing the fan into the engine. GRRR!

So, I drove it home from there. (6 miles) Tore it down myself. Pulled the sheet metal radiator support /cross member out by hand w my foot against the tire. Looks pretty damned good to me.

Ordered a new fan on Amazon, $63.00 free shipping! 8)

Fingers crossed, I should have her put together and driving again next weekend.
