here is some info about mine
this bike is a 1980 it has a bored out 650 in it 38mm mikuni carbs on custom intakes 80+rwhp
it will be running a ray san module and cbr coil on plug ignition
a 1983 gl650 front end gl650 rear swingarm and final drive that has been bored to take the cb900 custom axle and wheel and disc brake and dual piston rear caliper
i will be using a brembo rear master cylinder
it is a cb900 front wheel and rotors as well the front fork lower was machined to allow the speedo drive to fit beside the cb900 wheel
the mono shock is from a honda shadow and i swapped the spring on it
Thanks, well I took my CAD to the shop and he wanted $350 to make it out of 16 gauge.
So I stopped by the metal store and got a 20# piece for $10 figuring I can cut and shape the pieces and have my welder put it together for way less than that.
Well I did get a package from DCC today, headlight and turn signals installed. It amazes me that all those wires and connectors fit inside the bucket but they did again.

Well I have been plugin away at this thing, seat parts cut and shaped ready for the welder on Monday.
I decided to do the front fender differently on this one. I cut out the center section just between the mounting holes and the brake line mount hole and had it welded back together. It will need some bondo before painting but it will look a little better than having just cut the ends off.
