Thanks guys, I appreciate the warm wishes. I'm very thankful that I was born with a willy.... the sh*t I've seen so far is FAR worse than any horror flick Ive ever seen... She is bed ridden till the doctor says other wise.... I thought the trouble with having kids was supposed to happen AFTER the kid was born.
Anyway, I can't do much other than sit around the house till she needs something when I get home from work and I've got things rigged up in the basement so I can continue with everyone's stacks so I'll get them out.... just need a bit longer to get them to you...
I've just recently joined and have started checking out your thread very kick ass, Hope your baby's momma is doing better. I have two of my own and they come first.
Some complications with my wife's pregnancy has cut my free time considerably. I spent some time flaring the stacks this weekend and I have finally sorted out the electrical problems by completely rewiring the bike. I'd HIGHLY recommend anyone who is rebuilding their bike to go this route rather than try to monkey with the existing harness. It has been done many times by other people on this forum and I now understand why. It sounds daunting, but once you get your head around the layout of your bike it's pretty simple. I'll post pics later.
Another week or so and the stacks will be ready to ship.
As a father of twin boys I know all about the issues of a complicated pregnancy. Don't worry about the stacks and members - we're not going anywhere and most of us have a bunch of other stuff going on with the impending holidays - so at least for me, progress will be slow. No rush. Give our best to your wife and hang in there.
I know what you mean by horrors - I had not realized exactly how far human skin could stretch until my wife's C-section. Still gives me the skeeves.
Thanks again everyone. DTTers are a pretty classy bunch.
Well.... My welcome has been worn out at my Fathers garage and my Brother in Law has too much stuff in his so I'm left with only one solution.... Build a place to work in. I have a ton of space in my back yard so I've built a shed to put all the stuff in. The bike is running (finally) and the wiring harness works. It just needs a little "cleaning up" and sheath the wires. I've completed the stacks and just need to throw a few finishing touches (the end made by the cutters left a little lip inside the flared end.... need to grind it out and repolish) and find some shipping boxes to get them out to you all. The bike is due to come home this Sunday and once I get my sh*t together I will post pics/video of the bike.
The Wife is still on bed rest and the outcome of everything is unclear but if I don't do something else to get my mind off of the uncertainty of things I'm going to lose my mind. The bike is doing an excellent job of that. Btw ... it's a boy. Score one for the home team.

Have you considered buying a mini bike yet?!? LOL - I have 3 boys and I can tell you your going to love it, getting dirty, turning wrenches and what not with your boy. Congrats!
congrads on the BOY... for wire covers i order all my stuff from here http://cableorganizer.com/index-red.html they ahve EVERYTHING and it is cheap with SUPER fast shipping!
Ok. outside of finding an appropriate box to ship everyones stacks in, I'm ready to go. One small problem.
I deleted my mail by mistake so I've lost the shipping addys. Could everyone please pm their addressm again so I can get these out the door? Once I have the info I will take it to the post office to get everyone a price on the shipping.
The weather has turned foul out this way so I have not brought my bike home yet. The "workshop" sits empty. But it runs and I just need to run the electrical for the head lamp. Too bad I have to wait till its riding season again.

My apologies for taking so long getting back to everyone on the stacks. Things have gone from bad to worse. The wife has been in the hospital for a while and things are looking dire. I have also been busting my balls getting the house ready for our arrival. The bike is sitting patiently in the shed waiting for completion and if all goes well I will have it on the road this year. I promise everyone who wants the stacks will get them, I just need a bit more time. I hope everyones project is going well and I can't wait to get caught up on all the new projects.
