"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

once again i only needed rings and a honing on my cylinders so didn't really ask him about the others there is a sign but that was a few months ago that i had my cylindors honed.
And..... it's gone (the bike)

Want to punch the owner in the dick.

What a waste of a nice bike - Freaking clown shoes and cut off the mufflers plus clubman's and stock footpegs. The guy is a moron and now he is trying to sell his abomination to some hipster that thinks it looks cool and will probably hurt him badly.

Yep but right, wrong or indifferent, he probably isn't as stupid as your saying. He built a bike that he knows will sell because that look is popular right now. I am in NO WAY arguing that its not dangerously built or any of that, but if he is trying to make some money on the look he is actually doing it right for popular bike "culture" right now haha

Keep watching... it will sell for a price far north of value, I could spend 45 minutes with it and a pile of shit in my shop right now to make it a nice ride, but nobody would pay as much for it... let them learn.

Meh, even the hipsters are finding a new dick to ride.
Cant see that bike selling at all.

Im interested to see what the reserve is. I doubt he will get the buy it now price, but I bet it will sell higher than it should/ higher than we would pay.

Funny thing is that the "builder" was just chasing a look.
And now has a heap of shit that works far less then the stock bike he had.
If he had any idea about motorcycles he would know that the look can be had without ruining the function.

Hmm, I think it just needs tires and 2 inches of springs to be stock, the pipes were probably full of holes so a new header would be nice. Hell 33 cant even bitch about the hoop being flat haha! this time of year if his reserve is not stupid like the stones it will sell.

wait... what?

I know RDs are highly appreciated, but if he gets more than half his asking price I'm going to be pretty bummed out.

If that were here on the east coast, I would buy it.

Okay, that is a very cool LOOKING bike. I would love to go from Tim Hortons at the end of one street to the Tim Hortons at the other end of the street on that bike. Maybe stop by Starbucks and have a 3rd coffee while I am at it.

I am one of those who does differentiate between the modern café hopper and café racer. I can only appreciate the former for its form and style and if you only go city speeds from one coffee shop to the next with tight jeans, calfskin gloves and a Biltwell helmet, I say, have at it.

That said, this bike would cause deaths at high speed. Something very wrong with the length of the front forks.

Got to give it marks for originality. Kind of has a VMAX look to it.

So for $5000 you get this death trap..... And it needs the carbs cleaned and it doesn't have a title? Wow, sounds like a great deal.
