Cant say I disagree with a lot of what my man is saying here... That said, you'll be missed Lou. Gimme a call man.

Wow man, sad to see ya go. Trust me id far prefer 100 more of you to the usual suspects trolling the pages these days. But at least they will eventually remove themselves from the pages when someone on tv tells them what to Fuck up next.

And ADC: really? Do you need to start that shit here too? Grow up. But I've said that to you before, so I guess this is re-dumb-dant.

I don't know Louie, picking up your ball and going home seems like a very liberal thing to do. ;)

Dude you are exactly what's wrong here. Fuck dude, just pick a new hobby and quit pissing on ours.

There have been a few of these flounce posts lately, and frankly I don't get it. Internet forums are for people who are experienced in whatever the topic of discussion is (in this case, custom motorcycles) and also as a resource for those that are new to it. A good community has a balance of both new and old members in it, which keeps the discussion active. Complaining about people asking questions, criticizing the aesthetic choices they make and then making a big scene about leaving because of it just makes you look like an elitist. I'm sorry if that's taken as an insult, as I have nothing against you personally, but I can't really see the purpose of your original post as being anything but an attempt to establish how much better you are than the people you're leaving behind here.

And with a few notable exceptions, most of us were not around in the original days of cafe racers. So it's a bit ridiculous to lay claim to a style that's older than most of us, and accuse newcomers of latching on to a fad just because they were a couple years late to the party.

Best of luck to you in your future endeavors, sir.

Sorry to hear of your departure Louie. Your contributions were appreciated. With the odd exception I've found this forum to be pretty good. But I understand that things change sometimes its time to move on. Good luck in the future.

Glad I can finally acommodate the masses....

I hate to say it but that sounds like a coward's way out. As a proud conservative I have no problem defending my beliefs and principles or arguing with those who disagree. That said I've never thought of being a motorcycle enthusiast as being either a left or right thing. I also don't go to motorcycle forums to argue politics and have never seen anyone pimping Obamacare here either for themselves or their bikes. Perhaps you can provid a few links to the topics that have so offended you that you feel the need to leave.

AMazing this kind of playground stuff still goes on with us being grown men..
Alpha - Cut your hair, and shut your mouth.
Louie- Thicken that skin up homie. I 'pretiate the help you've tossed at me when needed.. Why not stay and just ignore the doushe. You look just as silly going back and forth with him. Tuckin' your tail and running isn't the way bro.

G, you don't need to do anything my friend. I have no idea who this alphadawg fool is, but like scores before him, he'll take off sooner or later. They all do. I've said it before, this ain't a hippie commune. Our family of crass dickheads will still be here.

Besides, who the hell am I going to bs with around here when I log on wasted?

One of only a few "fuck buying a part ill make it" guys on this site i have alway enjoyed you post and your way of approching a problem so change your mind already

I have not seen Brother Glenn on dotheton in almost a month and now Brother Louie is leaving too?! Two of the most unique craftsman I know both leaving within the last month is truly sad.

Brother Louie I have not been on dotheton much the past few weeks as I have been busy with work here at the shop so I missed whatever happened but I hope you know that I always have your back man and should you decide to leave you will truly be missed, no one has more style than you my friend.

Wow. I, like the others, have really come to appreciate your input, views, and general approach to life--even with the setbacks you have had. While I am not really one to beg and plead anyone to change their mind, should you decided to do so, there are more here than a few who would appreciate it!

But if it is not for you, hey, I understand completely. Sometimes a guy can only contend with so much. At any rate, all the best, Swappers!
