MY GS 400 IN DIFFERENT STAGES

Hehe the story is:I was riding my bicycle down to a (icy) wharf to check up on my fishingrod to see if there was any catch, the speed was a little miscalculated (no handrail)=swim!
2degrees c.

At least you got your priorities straight!
Quality time with the little ones is precious... the bike will wait patiently.

The old carbs are cleaned and mounted, the tank has been rised 1,5" in the back.

Not much progress to day!
The one thing i got done was to cut up the stock plasticfender, remove the paint on it and using a soldering iron and aluminum mesh net to strenghten the new shape of it when melted into the plastic!
Need a pic?

Got carried away with my kid and skylanders on playstation,so after a loooong couple of hours are some shitty pics of my plasticwelding:

FYI, with very little extra work, that CA92 could be transformed into a CB92. Just sayin'.........:) Make it into Honda's own Cafe racer of the time. Not necessarily a copy, but say 18" wheels off a CB160 and different tank seat and bars and it could be a neat little street fun bike - of course that may not be what you father wants, but.....
