Just paid $30 for these john tickle headlight brackets, anyone know what they are worth?

Cool score, I have a couple of pairs of these. Although they are authentic from the rocker era, not enough people collect them therefore their prices didn't skyrocket.

Wow! Nice score. She looks to be in great shape.

Oh trust me, this is after about 6 hours of rust busting.... Was sitting on the side of someone's house in Florida uncovered for 10 years. New battery and fresh gas, fired right up. Fuel tank's got some pinholes, debating whether to weld them up or scrap it.

What is a good deal on a GT750 these days? Prices seem to be through the roof. Best chance I have found at one is $900, no title, no carbs, no side covers, pretty beat. I cant imagine paying more than like $600 for that, am I wrong?

two years ago I got my cb750 for $1000 in ct, it ran but had no title. Was still able to get a nys title made up at the dmv because motorcycles before a certain year in ct didn't need a title. Just filled out the forms regarding the bikes vin, and proof of sale from original owner.

I should have been more specific, I was wondering about the GT750, the water buffalo before mentioned.

I paid 1K for this one. Probably overpaid but oh well. Clean, non-show bikes are usually on eBay for betwen 2500 and 5K. Clean title, running bike sucked me in. Don't get me wrong, it's far from road-worthy but I've waited so long for the emission laws for bikes to lift and smokers don't come by too often around here.

2 pinholes in the tank, missing side covers (of course) and the front master was froze up. Rust everywhere but was quickly reduced with elbow grease.... I love it.

whats with the emissions laws 'lifting' ? surely if the bike was legal when it was made it should always stay legal, regardless of current emisssions standards? or have those stinkin' green hippy fuckers made things retrospective wherever you are?

We had a '72 in our shop that after carb and ignition work, we got it running like a top. Bike was not pristine, but was close to it, all there and titled. Owner sold it for $4500. Being a '72, that front brake alone could be worth $6-800.

As with most old bikes, condition is everything. Around here, a rough daily rider, running and rideable would go around $1500 +/-. AN all there, but rough, not running can go from $600-1000. Prices assume titled vehicles.

Up until last Spring, in Maricopa County which is where Phoenix is located, all motorcycles were required to pass an emissions test. I never would have been able to buy a two stroke and register it. Finally the libtards lifted the emissions law and I'll smoke happily down the freeway now. Ridiculous.

This is kinda what I was thinking. If it was titled (though its generally not that hard to title one in indiana, but still comes with a certain amount of risk and headache) I would pay 800 even for a non runner. I would rather wait and pay 1500 for one that 'starts' and has title than 800 for one missing essential parts and no title.
