I wasn't happy with the looseness and voltage drop of my ignition switch, so I replaced it and all the other locks.

Also, to increase reliability, time for the nearly 40 year old fuse box to go:

The blade fuses are more reliable and now easier to find then the original metric fuses.

Nice and simple fuse block.
Where did you purchase it?

OK, I'll show it off here...

Titled as a '66, probably a '65 based on serial # and a few other things.

Surfly: Norris Cams was run by Norris Barsumian out of California. They went out of business a long time ago and Megacycle bought all their masters. When I raced CB77's I tried all of their cam grinds and in the end they came up with a custom cam grind for me that was really good.

His sons used to race too and the story was that Norris gave them the business but Bruce or Brian had a substance abuse issue and the company died. The other way to look at it was that they were in a market that was changing and demand probably dropped through the floor as manufacturers made much faster bikes and the need for cams and related parts dropped off.

The shifter is an early MTC and they still sell that or a similar part. Normally activated through a solenoid from compressed air. I use a small CO2 bottle and kill circuit on mine. It's a one way (up) device fro drag racing.

Think you meant MRE. I believe they still sell the same thing, or at least something similar. That white pvc container held the compressed air in lieu of using one of those bitty CO2 bottles - you just charged 'em up with compressed air like filling a tire before each pass. http://www.murdochracing.com/

I bought the same one... seems solid, i plan to use a little dielectric just to be anal, but price is right.

I did mean MPS who sell more drag race stuff than MRE, but MRE is what it says on the ram. Nice catch.

Mine came from somewhere else, but they are all made by someone else. CO2 at 300 psi is way better than a piece of drain pipe or even an old NO2 bottle or using the swingarm or frame - all of which make decent reservoirs for compressed air. - As long as the bottle is full...... But 1 4 ounce bottle lasts all weekend plus TnT so it's not usually a problem.

I have the same fuse block and put Dielectric and heat shrunk over the blade connectors and 2 seasons of riding and still going strong. Mine had a rubber gasket on the clear top but the bottom was open so I sealed it with silicone to make it more moisture proof too.

There is controversy about dielectric grease. Just Google it and I'll leave it at that. FWIW, I only use it to lube spark plug boots.

Scored a bank of MIK's CB crabs for a buck n 1/2 off feebay, Now just need to sell of my stockers to break even

Well technically just 4ea. 28mm Keihin round sides [fixed] mounted up to a Honda CB750 throttle plate :-\

But they are neatly untouched as evidenced by the manufacturers yellow paint ;D
