;D honda woont use a mik if da debil tol em 2

I fixed it so i don't know what the hell yer ramblin on about  These were off an F model, before I go digin, did Hondi Moto have any cam/valve mods for the F that will cause need for mohr parts (jetting) to run on the K the bowls are clean and wet so plan to douche the outside and run em unless I find different.

if it were me id just try them liKe they are woont hurt to throw A 1/4 DOWIL UNDER EACH SLIDE AND CHECK BENCH SYNCH
i got basically the same carbs for my 350 shown a few pics back the only diff is they arre cable pull

Later bikes used different (alaskan) crabs than early bikes but K0 sandcast with cables and K1 etc with linkage are basically the same jetting IIRC.

Yeah planned to bench synch, all the seats are good, floats are a tick higher than I like but these things like gas.

Was thinking the "F" had little bigger valves and more duration in the profile, but not sure on jetting.

77-78 F had the larger values. And different(better) carbs.

69-70 carbs had cables.
71-76 K carbs are mostly the same. Jetting changed post 72 slightly.

I think I will do some basic measuring and compare mains and pilots to what was running in it (decent) when I got it and make my moves based on that info... good thing is the bowls are spring loaded and jet changes are a snap haah!

New shoe for my baby

For those of you who are wondering if a 7" tire can fit on a 1.85" rim....

Absofuckinglutely

Just cause it fits doesn't mean it is a good idea. That tire will have a tighter diameter shape and can shift back and forth more.... while the tires fit, they don't fit correctly. Like a size 8 foot wearing a size 12 shoe. Sure, he can foot in the shoe, but it is going to be uncomfortable.

I have seen quite a few others race the same rim with the same tire.

This is for a flat track bike, not a street bike.

Yep, the tire is designed to fit a narrow rim and widen out the contact. It isn't the same as taking a street that's designed for a 4" rim and cramming it on. Mr. Dunev's post should be taken a bit tongue in cheek.

but still it was DUMB to go with such a large tire the national guys on an xr750 pushing into a turn at 110+ mph can use a tire like that IF it is on a wider rim.putting it on a skinny rim for a novice rider is just going to slow the rider down... should have gone with a much smaller tire ...MAJOR fail brow you went for something you think looks cool but will inhibit your racing

A wider tire will give you more grip. I think that's what he was going for. Whether side wall or weight will be an issue, that's something else. But, I'm pretty sure he's looking for grip.

Only to an extent, and it also depends on your surface. There's a reason tractor tires are narrow (and it isn't only so they don't run crops over).
