Is this why there are two 750 motors??! ;)

Good seeing you guys on the weekend!!

Haha! No... not for this little beauty. ;D It's twitchy enough without that! :D

There is h1/750 Project still waiting for a h2 motor and a spare for the Mongrel. ;) :D

Good to see you too! 8)

Maybe I will do that ;) or... maybe I'll actually use fenders. :p

Come to the dark side, fenders are for straight laced wankers who dont like to get dirty ;)

My old air compressor died so off to Harbor Freight...On sale $159.99.

Checked www.garagejournal.com and it was rated as a Pass.... It is quieter than my old one (but not quiet) and has enough CFM to run my air wrenches as well as nailers and the like.

Fantastic! A ginger on a motorcycle... Redbird may not be able to control himself.
Yea, well... it's taken me almost four days to regain the ability to reply :p

SCORED AGAIN $140 suzuki 500t smoker.. title says 70 but vin take says 76 and the vin matches???? runs not good but fires sounds like it is running on one cylinder and its pouring gas and oil outta one side of exhuast so i am hoping that its just a stuck float and a good carb job will fix her right up oh yea did i already say $140

Nice score...the Suzuki 500 was one of my 2 favorite Suzuki's. I like the old X6 Hustler too....250cc of mean 2 smoker and 6 speeds before anyone knew a bike could have that many...The 500 was a really nce bike, good for 2 up riding. I had a cousin with one, he used to lend it to me (back when it was NEW!!)

Man, watching you guys buy loads of bikes makes me kind of thankful I have no room left in my humble 12 x 20 garage. If I did I'd be in the same boat with truckloads of bikes ;)

Got this the other day 83 GS1100E.
The good: new paint, New tires but crappy ones (kenda). New clutch, new cables, a nice Tracy fairing that will probably be going for sale.

The bad: Battery not charging but the stator reads good, New reg/rec should be in tomorrow. No baffle in the Vance and Hines 4-1 (on order), rear tire mounted backwards (wheel now in my trunk and should be fixed tomorrow at lunch.

I want to leave this a two seater so I can actually attempt to get the wife out with me

as I bought it

As she sits now:under reconstruction

New battery now in (old one on the ground), new bars, mirrors, grips. Many more changes to go. I would like to do something like one of the following *but leave the shocks for comfort and handling)

If anyone has any more info on these or anything similar please let me know. I want a nice special with a drag, cafe, brat, chop flair kinda like below. Not many build threads anywhere.

GSX 1100 motor can be taken out to 1725cc ~200bhp, all you need is a LOT of cash ;D (GS is 2 valve/cyl, GSX 4 valve/cyl)
It's a heavy well overbuilt 'lump', I like them 8) (although I like the later GSX SACS motors better they can't be made really BIG ;) )

Ha. Good thing it wasn't the bike pic of me in a dress. That one showed a little leg. Would've added additional recovery time. Hahaha.

Picked up this sweet little drill press the other night! Slowly putting my shop together, sorry about the crappy pics...

PJ,
In my short few rides before tearing it down to fix things I have been VERY happy with the horsepower. The guy I bought it from had it set up to drag race. (He only ran it twice). Has some nice goodies like the welded crank etc. Down the road when I get tired of the 450 to 1100 upgrade i will be hitting you and others up for some details on modifications.

I'm gonna take a few minutes to ponder that... :p
