    Skyteam Ace 315cc

I´m rebuilding a Yamaha XTZ660 Tenere 1993 as a Tracker/Scrambler, and I´ve got my hands on a 92-93 parts bike with a good engine. It´s a 659cc single, but watercooled. How you all recon that would fit in the Ace frame? Any other pro´s and con´s?

    Oil tank for scrambler

Sorry, missed the answer. I've bought an old XT500 oiltank, fitted it left rear under the seat and built a battery box/bracket for the oiltank under sadle/over mono-shock. Just tacked it up, but fit is good. Will use a mix of the plumbing from my bike and from the oiltank, leave it to a...

    Oil tank for scrambler

Hi gents, I´m running a tuned up Ace 50. But now I´ve bought a 1992 Yamaha 660XTZ Tenere that I´m turning in to a "scrambler". (60´s Triumph style with mud tires etc.). The oil is originally in the frame, but I´ve deleted that, cut off all the pipes and welded it shut. What can be a good idea...

Oils aint Oils - New Ace Owner

From what I can gather, you should use 20w50 synthetic. I've changed two times using Castrol Actevo 4-stroke 20w50. Not that pricey, 129 swedish for a litre, that's about 10 GBP. About the OOR blue Cdi, my Ace 50 with 70cc kit runs like crap with their box. Ok on flat ground but with some...

    ACE R50

I've made the Ace ready for spring. Going to use it for comuting to work, now that the weather in Sweden is improving :P I've put som Michelin M45's on it, went up to 3.25 in the rear. And then I've installed clip on's from OORacing, just need a rubber handle for the left side. Seems impossible...

Big bore kit skyteam ace 50

Don't know if I had beginners luck, but I put the bottom in Tdc by checkibg the marks. Just put the head on and installed the chain. Revolved it a couple of times, made shure nothing interfered. Then just put everything together and started it up. Ran some short runs. Then changed oil to good...

Big bore kit skyteam ace 50

No idea, didnt find the right bit so I took a small punch/chisel and knocked the little "nob" of, unscrewed them with normal torx bit and installed the new carb with normal hex screws.

Big bore kit skyteam ace 50

I installed the OOR 70cc kit on mine. They deliver it without any instructions, but I did a few searches and found DIY instructions on Youtube for fourstroke engines (other models than Ace). It was pretty easy, and I've never worked on 4-stroke mopeds before. A tip is, you will never get old...

    New Skyteam bike

It´s not an Ace, but I like the rough, off-road "Steve McQueen look". A new Engine with 4 valves, comes both in 49cc and 125cc: http://13553.shop.textalk.se/moped/eu45/a-skyteam-scrambler-50

    50 - 250

Sounds good Jorn. Is it the 125cc from an original Ace? Have you got any good Pictures of the brackets and how you solved Everything?

    50 - 250

Is it possible to use the OOR 250cc full engine kit on an Ace 50? It won't be legal, but do you think it would be possible in relation to the frame/electricals/mecanical? I've e-mailed OOR and they think it's possible, but are not 100% (I have their 72cc tune up kit, and I'm pleased with the...

    www.skyteamparts.com

Kind of insane, but the stuff I ordered in July arrived in a small package/letter in my mailbox today with the normal swedish postal service :P I've had no further comunication with the company, but now it's all here, every item I ordered. So if you can wait like a half year or so they're great ;D
