Hey Al, there's a Bike & Blues Fest June 18th 2011 very close to Washington's Crossing with a lot of the same crowd of bikes. http://artofthebike.com/
I'll try and post this again under events when the time gets closer.
The Delaware Valley Norton Owners Group is having their annual gathering April 17 at Washington Crossing State Park from 10-2pm. It's a cool free event with a lot of British bikes and other exotic bikes. Search the web for a flyer.
I disagree also. The PVR's put on a decent show for only $5 admission. I was looking at a real nice cb tach for only $5. I bought a solid qa50 gas tank for only $15 in the parking lot from an overflow vendor and a real nice used dual sport tire for my KLR for $5. It's a swap meet bro, if you...
I got suckered in at Harrisburg once, $15 Plus $8 to park to look at Harley take off parts in some animal piss smelling farm show building. If I'm at an event and I have to pay to park at a private lot, so be it, but to pay the complex to park at their event is a rip- off.
I doubt that painting a license plate is legal anywhere, but I've seen rat rod guys try to get away with something cool in my state. They get a license plate from a flea market from the year their car was made. They then apply for a vanity plate with the old plate's numbers and put the new...
Got my HD cable box yesterday. I had to speak with some nice ladies in the Phillipines to get my box activated. Now the staying awake till 9pm might get me, I didn't get a DVR. Watching my other TV's is now like listening to 8-Track tapes!
I went on Saturday, I left Philly Folk Fest and drove out in the car to spend some time with my wife. I like the events at White Rose MC, but it's a tedious ride through 35mph zones and Lancaster County tourists. I saw a lot of small bore stuff there, z50's, ct70's. Not too many real cool bikes...
It was a real nice event you guys pulled off, well worth the 100 mile ride on such a beautiful day. I spent the summer not working and attending all sorts of bike , car and music events, and I couldn't give you one single bit of negative constructive criticism. The food and drinks were...
To anyone in the Philly area I would recommend checking out the vintage Triumph display running through Sept. 9 2010 at the Simeone Foundation Museum near the airport. Admission is $12 and it's worth it just for the cars alone. On Sept 12 & 13 they're hosting the Hot Rod Hoedown which also might...
I have electronic ignitions on my '73 Triumph and one of my xs650 twins, the bikes start right up and run great. Of course they are relatively cheap since they sell a lot more for these bikes.
A guy I sold a tank to just mailed me a flyer and I'm really interested in going to a new event. Is there parking nearby for a 6x10 trailer and SUV? I want to bring something old but I'm 100 miles away and old age and wisdom prevent me from riding an old bike that far. I broke down last week on...
