    looks good so far! Sucks about the triple trees. It is such a crap shoot when buying a used front end. I have had 3 front ends that I picked up used end up being tweaked.

    I just started working on this one again.. about 3 weeks ago I built a table to work on and brought the bike over to my borrowed garage new front end swap got the steering stems and the triples ready for the stem swap... zr6 tubes started slimming down the wiring harness..

    I am def going to lower the gauges at some point. Now that the headlight is lowered they stick out like a sore thumb. I read your build thread front to back when I first bought my bike. Nice job on the build! I wish i bought a tail like yours so I could have a bit more clearance between the tail...

    A side mount in that area is in the works. The zip ties were just so I could get on it and ride without being hassled by the cops at every light.

    Re: 1982 Yamaha xj650 cafe got a few things done. My father stitched the leather for the seat. I installed a 4 into 1 pipe that I snagged off of ebay for a steal. It is tough to see but I also lowered the headlight using the ears that fuggers suggested. It lowered the light prob about 3-4"...
