Motobits. Really nice rearsets! I could say a thousand good things about them, although I did lose a toepiece on a ride yesterday... Pretty sure that one is my fault though, not enough loctite. They mount directly to the passenger mounts, are fully adjustable, and very comfortable.

Those are the early CL pipes that came with the suitcase muffler. The bike started life as a CB but I love the scrambler pipes and had to use them.

Layeredcake: OE rims, powdered and painted. Tire sizes are F: 100/90-18, R: 120/80-18 WNTITAL: I ended up going with a 335mm Hagon shock, I think. May have to double check the length. But I removed the springs and fully compressed the shock to see where its bottom out point was. You're...

My wife was more upset about it than anyone! My garage is on the back of the house so the neighbors don't mind. Plus, the cheap soda blaster isn't as powerful as a real one and won't throw soda everywhere. Won't strip paint but does a decent job with all the grit and grime on the engine case...

Bring it over to my house. We'll soda blast it in the driveway with my home made blaster idea I stole from the cheap mod thread. Worked ok on my engine... As far as the engine itself. Hard to tell from the outside. How does the guy know that the engine turns freely if the kicker is stuck...

I like this idea... I'd let him pay for the new parts but not so sure I'd let him rebuild this one. The big problem is getting the guy to do it. He seems like an ass who has literally left you stranded (last Friday). One of those things where it might be better just to move on and forget...

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (Swing Arm Bushing Question) There might be a better way to do it, but a punch and hammer worked well for me. Then put the new bushings in the freezer to help them contract and pressed them in with a vise.

Remove the exhaust studs as well. Makes it a lot easier not having to worry about those and gives you an extra few inches to move the engine front to back. Take two of the stud nuts, put them both on the same stud and tighten them against each other. Hold the outer nut in place while turning...

Re: CB350 - Project One (Rolling...) Avons always look like they're mounted backwards on the front, but they're mounted correctly. Measured the distance from the tire to the brace at 3.1 inches. Eye to Clevis on the shocks is 13 in. Anyone know the full compression length of these shocks...
