Picked up the bike sometime in 2009, went to Uni out of province and sort of let it sit as a pile of parts. Slowly been accumulating parts since then and am getting ready to put it back together.
Today I went and took a look at what I'd started and gave her a wipe down. I haven't actually sat...
Hey everyone,
I'm an adventurer and I always find I go on these epic and long journeys on my bike, on foot, boat, plane and bus. I've got "survival" lists for all of these different ways of traveling and I thought I'd share my motorcycle one.
Found this cool site ...
If I were around I'd go have a look and probably get this.

Hey everyone!
A crazy thought crossed my mind the other day... I work in rural Senegal as a geologist and on May 22nd I'm scheduled to fly back to Canada.
Normally on the 22nd in the morning the company would fly me back to Dakar where I'd catch my flight home that evening.
My crazy idea...
Hey guys,
I've had this "project" on the go for about 4 years now. I seldom post because I've seldom worked on the bike. I'm currently away for work but will be back in the country by end of May.
Hoping to take this build a little more seriously now that I've got a little more disposable...
I can't find a shifter for my cb400 (1978)
On eBay or on online part stores...
wondering if my search is futile.. do most bikes just use a universal shifter lever?
Should I just look for a salvage yard/junkyard and grab any old shifter off an ol jap bike?
Thanks for the heads up.

So I recently picked up a 1978 CB400 T1 Hawk, upon closer inspection I've noticed the left side of the bike needs the most attention.
Definitely been down in her 30 years of life.
If you have one of these parts... Please PM me.

What a wonderful time in the fall...
Wraps up the summer of mini skirts n open toe high heeled girls...
Not to mention the low cleavage on them girlies during the warmer months..
Embrace today as it'll probably be the most and last day you'll see this much skin before 2009.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN...
So I found this wicked wicked bike deal on kijiji.
1982 Yamaha XJ550 Seca.
He's asking a 1200 but I offered 800 n he said DONE, COME GET IT.
I'm no longer interested (found an rd 350) so I thought I'd toss this out here...
I've found a 74 rd 350 for 650.
paperwork in order, running, front brake caliper might be seized. Minimal rust and low kms.
Worth it?
Your thoughts please.
