Alright guys, exciting news here!
This last week has been a busy one. First of all I would like to make a HUGE shout out to Redbird for coming over and helping me out with some electrical problems. He is a life saver.
The bike is complete! I don't have any pictures of the fully assembled...
UPDATE! bike is finally coming together!
I moved everything to my girlfriends basement for the final assembly. More pics to come. I would have more for you now but the lighting is to low and I forgot my tripod today.
If any locals want to come join in on the fun you are welcome and if not we...
Alrighty well its been a long time since I posted but I wanted to give everyone a little update.
The bike is completely ready to rebuild but unfortunately I was cut off by a car on my bicycle before the superbowl and fractured my hand. Its lookin like another month before I can get back in the...

surffly- lol yeah I know the rear sets were from Trozzi. I was just saying that in case anyone was wondering where I get em. Can't get anything past you haha! They are worth every penny. I'm going to have to look into those adjustable clubmans. These actually fit pretty well but...
I have a quick question for you guys:
What the hell is this thing? It mounts behind the headlight but I'm not sure what its for.
Also I think the last owner had a slight exhaust leak haha
So I did a test fit to see how I'm gonna fit with the new seat ending before the crossbar with the rear sets and bars. Its a little cramped and Its gonna be worse with the new seat because it doesn't have as much foam but I think I'll be able to manage.
I may have to re-name this build "all...
Thanks tetter! I'm going to be keeping the original tank but I'm going to re-paint it. The original paint is not in the best shape rust wise but the patina does give it a good look. I'm also considering hammering in knee inserts but I'm gonna see how I feel about it when I get my rear seat...
Hey ronnie! I was looking over your build and your engine looks great so far! Can't wait to see it all rebuilt. I might need to use your knowledge when I do mine haha.
Well here we go ladies and gents!
I picked up this old girl about a month ago and I've been scouring the internet looking for ideas/parts for the build and I have a pretty solid picture in my head so the tear down begins!
Didn't get a "in original condition" picture because I was so damn excited...
Wow! Thank you all for the help!
Especially trek97 for the pics and the explanation.
While I do love the look of the external springs I don't want to compromise the forks. The forks on the bike are pretty shot as of right now and need work but the tubes and seals are still in excellent...
Can anyone tell me what the springs are called that sit over the front forks? almost like a coil over where the gator usually is. I've only seen one bike with them and I loved the look of it and he said that it severely improved his suspension. I cannot for the life of me remember what he said...
Just introducing myself here
My name is Cory and after months of searching I finally found my new project!
I just purchased a 76' cb750 and I am stoked! I'm a tall rider coming in at 6'6" so anyone else tall out there hit me up because altering the bike to be comfy for my tall ass is gonna...
