Most commonly the shock is made ride height adjustable and not the chassis mount. Both of these have the mounts on the upper end and part of the frame. It's usually it adjustable on the lower end and part of the shock itself. Again just making shop talk, I put my ride ht. adj. at the bottom and fixed the upper. Typical of linkage type mono-shocks it's a 2/1 ratio so that 1" of adjustment yields 2" at the axle that should be plenty to tune most chassis? I don't know either of the direct mono ratio. Fun stuff to ponder.
