1974 Yamaha RD200

Engine paint is finished. After going back and forth on the idea, I think I'm going to run the oil pump and alternator covers as is.

The fab work is basically done. The seat is hinged on the back and opens up to reveal the battery, electronics tray, and access to the oil tank. Plenty of room under the gas tank for wiring and ignition coils. Flush mount (with spring loaded pop up) gas cap finishes the tank.

When you finish mating the case halves and notice a transmission gear still on the bench...
