I use a piece of PVC pipe that is the correct diameter for the seal. Put the seal in, place pipe over it, hammer gently with a mallet applying equal pressure to all sides.

Well the engine is reassembled... hopefully correctly, and the front end is on.
Should have a roller soon once I get the bushing out of the swing arm and get it back on.
Front end:
For some reason the headlight ears are loose at the top as though I forgot a rubber bushing or something. I just looked at one of my original pictures and I see them in the picture... just don't see them in my garage. Guess I'll have to rummage around a bit and see if I can find them..
Ha I know they will. I have the KZ up and running though so I'm not in as much of a hurry for this.
The closer I get to finishing it the more I wish I hadn't told my wife she could have it. I kinda want it for myself. Haha
If she doesn't like riding it I'll probably find her a good scooter and than do some tweaking to make this thing more fun. More of a true mini-cafe as apposed to a comfortable ride for her. Which is the path it's currently on.
Hmm k. I put the cover on the tried moving the actuator arm with my hand but it wouldn't budge. Guess I could hook up the lever and see what happens...
ALSO, I can turn the engine by hand and it seams to get to a point where it won't move any more. I don't think it's due to pressure because I don't have the spark plug in. It is a bit concerning.

I don't think you'll be able to move the actuator arm by hand. You'll have to have the cover bolted up and the lever and cable attached to get it to move.
Yeah.. I was afraid of that too.. Gotta be something that didn't go back together right during assembly. That sucks man. but I'll help you one of these days if you want.
