Re: Piglet 2.0, 72-CL100-Going OFFFF THE GRID!
This morning dug into cutch disc/spring replacement
over night oil bath as PJ Almighty commands it.
new tool worked a treat for oil cup spanner nut removal. 20x24mm
Discovered one of the kits included only 4 discs. Argh. I just re-used one of the originals. Keep full set of 5 w new plates on the shelf for later, just in case.
Not hard to see Bore-tech Heavy Duty springs. I wanted to measure them but couldn't locate my calipers. Argh.
The wire is thicker and they are just a smidge larger diameter. But fit just fine.
Tore gasket otherwise the rest came off nice and clean. Im not gonna spend the agonizing time it takes to remove, clean up and replace.
So it gets a light smear of high heat rtv. I couldn't find my black rtv.
:
. Before torquing down every bolt...ensure you don't have a rag pinched twixed cases. ARGH. LOL. ;D
got the adjuster dialed right in.
Bore-tech springs ARE stiffer. They are good, but I sure wouldn't want anymore at the lever. 8). Thanks for your suggestion PJ.
