I have no issues w it. That said, these pipes are BEAT up. Had to weld a ton of holes shut and there are dents everywhere. Pipe wrap is the best way to keep the awesome exhaust and not spend a fortune.

Re: XS650 chop - Yeah... I actually acomplished something on this piece of S#! T.

exactly why I did it on my 81750F. It looks great on the right bike and hides old scars.

Scars are earned bitches. Don't cover them up asshole.

Kidding, I like pipe wrap.

We shall dub this build "The Unicorn" because it is indeed a mythical creature... Yeah pics or it never happened. Pics man. :)

Made a seat mount yesterday. Things are moving slowly here, I know. Really need a whole day with a welder to knock some shit out. Once a few more things are done in that respect, I can paint and assemble.

Nice, slow forward movement is better than none or backwards. I think this will be your best bike yet, WHEN you finish it ;D

Re: XS650 chop - Yeah... I actually acomplished something on this piece of S#! T.

New headlight assembly came in...

Need to fab a mount for it as the one on it now is for an HD triple. Wont work with the XS. Should be pretty simple.

Yeah... Made in England. My ancestors will likely haunt me now. ;)

So... With the headlights arrival I really only need to find a rear fender and decide on some handlebars. Both situations are DRIVING ME INSANE. I've debated about ten different pairs of bars, and can't make up my mind. I want them narrow and relatively comfortable. Just lost out on a killer vintage pair of 12" window bars on fleabay. Anyhow, I have all winter to figure it out.
