I'm actually getting a welder here in a few weeks. Once that's set up, I'll be able to knock out a very large portion of this project. Possibly including bars.

Well that is awesome, congrats, I need to learn to weld. I think it is a very useful skill to have. What kind of machine are you getting?

No clue. Haha... Apparently my Ma called the wife and said her husband "found me a good welder on sale for xmas".

That's all I kmow at the moment.

Nice, tools for X-Mass instead of an ugly sweater. but any buzz box is better than nothing at all for sure.

PrincessAuto (gees, they need a manlier name for that store) has their Flux Capacitor welder on sale for $99 right now.. Don't know if it's any good.. I think I'll take the ugly sweater and wait for a Lincoln flux welder to show up on sale somewhere..

Ok. Been slowly tinkering away and making parts for the bike. Got a welder for XMas, but it's just a little 90amp buzz box. Good enough to tack up everything I need to though. Then I can take the whole shebang to work or Brads and finish weld. I'm really hoping to have fab work done and the motor purring by Feb. Then paint and final assembly by Mar. April will be all shakedown and whatnot. Come may, this SOB has to get me to Kentucky and back.

Fabbed up a rear brake pivot mount this morning for the bike. Now I need to make a mount for the master cyl and stick them to the frame.

Also... Made a side mount plate bracket (yeah yeah... don't like them? Don't use them.) and got a fender. Should be here early next week. It's from a 72 Ironhead. I'll be modifying it a touch, but the shape should stay about thesame.
