Originally I did have some nice USD forks mounted up, but let's be honest... That's a real waste of high end components. They went to a good home and I went with some stock forks. Next year I'll probably rebuild them with updated internals but for know they'll do the trick.

3DogNate said:did you fit a chain on your build yet? how many links did you end up with? I've got the wheel spacers I need to get my rear mocked up coming... I bought a 120 link chain and on a rough estimate cut 2 links out and looks like 118 Links is going to be just right... Just curious if you ended up with the same thing since we are running the same hard tail.
I gotta work out my battery box now.. I had an extra Harley battery and bought a pre-made battery box to go with it ... it's a little large... the way I had planned puts it right in line with the lower half of the chain path... good thing we mock these things up...
EDIT: I fitted up the wheel today, 118 links is too long I'm going to have to remove at least one maybe two links... Waiting for a new master link to arrive Wednesday.
Thanks... 116 links was just right for me btw.VonYinzer said:I haven't fit a chain yet, no. Been on the road for work since last Monday. I'll finally be home for more than a day tomorrow though. Thanks for the info man. Your bike's lookin rad.
