Front wheel is way offset to left. Do you have axle fitted properly?
i didnt even notice that. but everything is kinda thrown together right now. i had it off and put it back on so i could roll it in and out.

thanks for that observation pj, the speedometer adaptor on the wheel was up too high. causing the wheel not to fully seat on the right side.

I kinda suspected it was just thrown in to be able to roll bike around. Speedo drive OK? Pretty difficult to break them but may distort cable hole or damage studs pulling at an angle

it is. everything is very roughly mocked up, it'll be properly measured during the final mock up.

since i passed my first exam, i can finally focus a little more on the cb, i got the seat mocked up, foam and the fabric. so im hoping to get that done soon. so i can start on the next project. a yamaha r5 rd350 a friend of mine ended up giving me the other day for free. its been sitting under his grandmas basement forever. luckily the engine is free. but the rest of the bike needs some love. so the cb needs to get done soon so i can pick it up. my friends who know me. know i love 2 strokes.

what spark plugs did you end up running in that thing? I went with your original NGK B9 racing plugs and they did not do so great for me. ended up going with the B8ES factory plugs and got great results

I bought a box of B9 race platinum plugs, ended up using stock B8 as well ::) I think I should have got B8 platinum, I know they last at least 40,000 miles and improve starting on other bikes I've had. I'll end up using the 9's in XS800 when I eventually get back to it :-[
