Mostly just repair of the missing chunks and cracks. Then repaint. Im'a have to find the perfect vinyl for the seat cover. That shit has to sparkle.Hurco550 said:what's the plans for the fiberglass?

Absolutely. I think that's pretty important.Hurco550 said:Gonna repaint it with flake as well?

As long as nothing is broken inside the motor, yes. The one I took out is 50cc, so internally it's different. I'll likely just get sent a new motor, though. The vendor will make a claim to UPS and also get replacement parts from the manufacturer. The case has a chunk taken out on the fan side, which doesn't look like it will effect performance, but it will require the side of the case to be swapped to fix.Maritime said:Can you use the one that came with the rear end for parts and fix the busted one? or do you need to return it for the claim?
It is the 150. Very good access to the starter motor. It's on top and not blocked by anything.farmer92 said:What size did you go with, the 150?
Maybe to late for this, but try to make sure you have easy access to the starter motor when the motor is installed. Frequent problems with the starter either not engaging or disengaging.
Every bit of this.dakine_surf said:vinyl that sparkles and fiberglass that belongs on a bass boat...
