"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

According to several knowledgeable Norton guys, Norton Commandos make terrible choppers. So why do people keep doing this shit to them? http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/4108132075.html

If I ever have an old Norton or Triumph I could never bring myself to do that to it. I'd think a restoration would be more fitting for the bike and also for resale.

Just a Norton motor/trans. Definitely not a Commando frame. Plenty of these back in the day. Not as plentiful as Triumphs. Not sure if I love it or hate it. I'd ride it though.

Haha, or how they make something sound super simple for it to be done. "Only needs a new front end, engine rebuild, and the carbs rebuilt to be running again." Or my favorite, "it ran a few months ago, just don't have the time. Asking $750 obo". More like I bought it, couldn't get it to run and now I want it to be your issue.

A true marvel of engineering. ???

That rear fender is confusing me. Is that the front or the back of the bike? Hahaha :)

This was at the Cleveland Mods vs Rockers Friday night. Bleongs to the guy with that awesome old BSA. I think he's the original owner of this zook. Clean little bike.

This has been a local CL favorite for a long time. We were amazed when the seller got $1200 for it and the new guy put it up for $2k the next day! Wrong pick for a flipper.

Expensive project.....

You realize that's just a spare parts motor right?
