"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

That FZR4/6 is a total bargain if it can be registered or use it as a track day tool. Have never seen one rotted and spare 600 motors are not hard to find and not hard to make more power than any H1 Typical race FZR400 makes about 70-72hp at the rear wheel and a 600 can make more without too much work.

Great little bikes.

Yeah man! I bought one (FZ600 air cooled) in 87 and an 87 ZX600 water cooled pig for a road trip, the brakes were the only short coming on the FZ otherwise for the time it turned like a dream, the pig did get me from Denver to Miami in mostly downpour riding conditions without fail, but turns in the narrows took a lot of input.

I had a (shared and paid for by the company) porterhouse at Peter Luger's and I would say that steak was worth more that that Z in current form, I have a 76KZ1000 I could clone as a Z1 for less than 2grand.... HMMMMM

I pay for a Peter Luger meal every time I'm in NYC. Worth evvvvery penny.

I've seen the bike in person, interesting work I guess. Not sure what to think other than the price NINETEEN THOUSAND is insanity.

Mericana? It's neat if yer into that, but I would find better use of 12K personally, like finish a garage full of projects of my own

How anyone thinks that is better than the brand new bike (2015) he started with is beyond my imagination. I can only assume it was an insurance total to begin with, I hope.

Which is it? Runs "good" or runs "great"? What's with no front brake?

It's the hip trend in the chopper scene now, don't you know? You can't ride a chopper with a front brake bro, what are you some kind of poser?!

True story, a guy told me I couldn't buy his Sportster if I was gonna put front brakes on it. Told him I wasn't building a chopper and he says ohhh ok. Still looked completely confused. I just chuckled and paid the sumbitch.

No front brake is hardly a new phenomenon in the chopper world, though in the past it was usually only found on shoe bikes.
