One too many zeros in his motor work assessment, but 2K is a pretty good price for this scoot:

I love how they can't make up their mind on the price. Title says $2000, text says $2200. No way I see $9k in motor work

Sounds like he couldn't get the price down to what he wanted. Who's right, all the morons that are getting what they are asking or the guy who thinks they are all morons. I go with the majority.

Funny how he has a problem with the fair market price of something, yet brings up Obama and Democrats, who are traditionally a lot more about regulation and price control than the laize fair capitalistic republicans. What something is worth is what someone is paying for it.

I think Politics is off limits... You could start a DTT war with that drivel.

Or the least someone that is selling it will take for it. Worth is not always determined by the buyer.

Well nobody will take less than half of their asking price on any bikes he calls so it's big conspiracy. At least they are probably all strong runners. Try prying a kz900 basket case out of someone's hands for less than 2k or a runner for 4k

Not pretty, but workable for that price. . .ditch the WJ for $100.

Your confusing worth with value. Value is speculative. Worth is determined by a cost paid. Also see "worth to me", as in "That's what the bike is worth to me, but since no one else values my many hours spent tinkering or my decision to spend $2500 on a mechanic, I guess I will have to adjust the cost.

For additional example see 80% of Craigslist adds, or 100% of Ebay adds. ;D
