I tried putting a $5.00 bid on it but didn't realize the $899 was a minimum bid! lol. What's that joker thinking!?

I didn't even notice until now that the bars are inverted ape hangers.

I would like to punch the builder of that bike in the face.

What irks me the most is that people, in 2012, still don't know how to take a fucking picture with a digital camera. There is no excuse for dark/blurry/shitty photos anymore. Jesus fucking christ. You're trying to sell your work, if you have a "good enough" mentality about something thats so easily avoidable, doesn't give me much faith in your building abilities.

Spell check/grammar usage falls in that pisses me off or makes me laugh category too.

Yep. I'm a high school English teacher, and I exclusively use CL postings as the fodder for "weekly edits." I put up the posting on the projector and have the students edit it for grammar and spelling errors.

CL is a great source for exemplars of bad writing.

You don't have to go to CL to find bad grammar/spelling/punctuation. This board is full of shitloads of it. I realize it's the Internet, and a lot of people are typing on phones these days, so I forgive minor errors, abbreviations and typos. I'm not perfect either, but some people are barely understandable.

Awesome. I knew this thread would turn on the forum at some point.

For someone who is so worried about negative attitudes harming the atmosphere and positive environment of the forum, you sure like to bitch a lot about what other people have to say. Just thought I'd point that out since it seems that you've had a few interactions with me where you quote my post and then complain about it. It's somewhat like the pot calling the kettle black. The only negativity I've had on this forum in awhile has been from you. I'm not trying to pick a fight with you but you don't seem to be part of the solution.

Listen man. I'm not singling you out. I'm not singling anyone out. Nor am I attempting to start arguments with anyone. I am however attempting to point out that constant negativity and shit talking on other people's bikes/ideas/etc is a cancer to a forum like this. A forum that many (myself included) have worked to help grow to be the open minded and accepting place it is. I don't know how many other forums you frequent, but many other have a real attitude problem. A lot of arrogance and bullshit attitude. DTT has always been a place that was cool with all bikes, and all people as long as those people were just as willing to open their minds to others ways. Threads like this go directly against that mentality. I'm certainly not without fault either so don't take my words as some self righteous soapbox rant. I'm simply saying that we should all chill a bit with the talking shit. Across the forum, not just in this thread. If my words have seemed negative or argumentative, know that wasn't my intent. But sometimes things need said that people don't want to hear. I won't apologize for that.

I love when people post side ways or the size of a sugar cube, or even better, no picture at all! lol
