Apparently, dad "preserved" this in a salt water tank. outside. Fairly complete and definitely restorable, but $2400???? Of course, it did run twenty years ago. before parked for repairs.

Worth that in parts.
Hell I want the front end for a track project.

These early kettles are valuable and people are hunting for them

It's worth about 24 bucks as scrap metal and not much more. There are much better bikes than that at much better prices. Then again, if anyone like that I have a GT750 cafe racer project I can sell them for not a lot more. For sure it has that nice 500-600 buck front end but it is probably just as rusty inside and not so useful.

I missed out on one running example here in good shape for 600 bucks. Not impressed. 2000 for that is ridiculous.

Lol, that's funny. I wonder if that's what he was planning to do when he bought it.

It could be done but it's not ideal. At least it's chain and not Shaft.

Yikes....

Wow seriously.??? The geometry on that rear mono shock in relation to the swing arm is disturbing. To say the least...

That geometry is proven technology. My 5 year old has battle tested this setup.
