"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I've seen this bike in person. Looks even worse when you get up close to it

No pictures of the left side, which is where the license plate might be. It looks like the battery is mounted on the swing arm so unless it's an agm, will spill acid everywhere you ride right on your tire.

I'm surprised you didn't notice the oil tank on the bottom of the swing arm. That would scare me to death. The tank has a hole in it that is ruining his airbrush work. I tried to sell him a minty stock 750 tank. I told him 100, he came back with "they really aren't worth that much money".
OK see ya

I read the forum on my phone. Too small to see that detail. CL pics are particularly bad.

Everyone should know that 75-80% of your effective braking comes from the front wheel. Why anyone would remove that much safety from their bike is just insane.

But if you only use the rear brake, wouldn't that be 100% of your effective braking power?

:) :)

Yes, but you may experience premature rear tire wear from the likelihood of skidding at most stops. Pulling the front brake off your bike is like pulling your dick... sooner or later there's gonna be an accident

Cheap FZR1000. Would be a fun bike. Sounds like a kickstand kill switch issue.

And adding to the unsprung weight of bike, which always improves things...

This could probably be purchased for less than asking price. Not too bad from the pics. Needs a handful of things.
