yeah mate those are the ones!
be aware that they are longer than the stock ones so will make your stance a bit more aggresive. also...the bottom clevis is meant to runs like a M8 bolt or something and i think the stock one is a M6 bolt. so you'll need to source new bushings for the swingarm or figure out another way to use the smaller stock bolt.
ok so todays progress....we sorted mounting issues with the shocks. spaced out the top mount, and got a suitable bushing for the lower mount. The previous owner rewelded and tapped a new mount at the top but tapped a M6 thread even though the other side is M10. So now we're rocking two different style head bolts on either side....some say lazy..we say kooky.
yayer.
all solid and a nice stiff ride.
currently waiting on some tapered needle bearings for the steering to replace the old ball and race ones and also a new set of chromed rims and spokes.
I believe it's ''tapered roller bearings" at least that's what I use when converting from the loose ball bearings? Looking good, keep on keeping on.

If there was a 'LIKE' button I'd hit it, but instead I have to wear out my key board and internet pixies in order to say the same thing in about 3 dozen words.
Jeez
thanks guys we are super chuffed with it. seeing the rolling chassis has got us all amped up again. haha
we've were having a discussion between us about wheels...and we were going to go with the chrome rims we bought but seeing some recent pics of other builds we are swaying towards having satin black rims, chrome spokes and polished hubs....
quick questions but, is there going to be difficulty with powdercoating the rims and the lacing it after? how much tolerance does the hole for the nipple usually have?
we don't want to powdercoat it and then have a hard to relacing the wheel because it might be hard pushing the nipples though the holes that the powdercoat might reduce.
anyone have any experience powdercoating their rims before?
I had the rims on my R5 coated and had no problems lacing them. You do have to be careful when mounting the wheel though, the tire spoons can damage the coating. I used some pieces of plastic I cut out of laundry detergent bottles as rim guards.
