according to my package tracking widget (LOVE IT)... my K1 head came in today!

not sure if my dad picked it up from work though or if they just left it sitting around... wooot woot, what a great present to myself.

Hate to break it to you but a few months ago after the ipad came out, they did a study and it showed that the people that bought ipads thought they were elitists, you still have time to save her....hurry

got my K1 head and fork/engine parts from Bike Bandit!

bike bandit doesnt have my carbs anymore... on back order =/


k1 head is dirty (the bag it was in was covered in black oil!) but in great condition! will degrease it, dissasemble, and then sandblast. waiting on dime city... should be here next business day!

Got my son an iPhone for his birthday the other week and recently got my daughter an iPod for hers.
I was dead chuffed when the family clubbed together and bought me an iPad for Father’s day.

Got my wife an iRon for her birthday. It was around then the fight started......

got my dime city cycles parts in!

now all im missing from my order is a set of carbs from Bike Bandit (on backorder) and jets from dime city. EXCELLENT Service from DCC... everyone should support them!


today and tomorrow will mostly be me finishing homework for school this wed.... then i have off till next monday (the department of education has one fucking odd schedule... one day in then a week out?!)

things are moving!

just ordered VM30s from OEM cycle parts! best price on web so far.... 159 or so SHIPPED. cancelled my back ordered bike bandit stuff. will keep you guys updated on how it goes!

Rocan, dont know if you checked out eBay or not (expect that you have) but they have TONS of VM30's on there for about $50 a piece. They dont come with throttle cables or throttle but do yours? Might be worht a look if its not too late.

Those are the carbs I bought Bob. $80 for the pair. They are flange mount though. Need to have adapters made.

i saw those carbs, but the made in china and the plastic throttle pull threw me off...

orders in, im not complaining.

FUCK ME! Mikunis are on back order at OEM cycle also...

they are expecting middle to late september arrival time... at least they gave me a date unlike BB ::)

gah, i was really wishing they would come in! guess ill just wait, since i already cancelled my BB order...

von when i went back and forth though email wiht the guy that sells those he said that they can not be run in pairs and would not work for our bikes... i am 99% possitive that those where the carbs. i hope he was wrong caus that is a killer price!

Well, all the research Ive done says that I can run them. I will have to have mounting flanges made (thanks Swagger) but I dont see why they couldnt be run in pairs with a dual cable setup like whats on a 350 already.

agreed! ill try and dig up the emails from him on ebay and PM you. may help you anticipate some issues when you are doing them! i just got my VM30's for my cafe as well!

Has anyone actually bought a pair and if so what size are they really. The pictures look very different to a normal VM30 Mikuni. If the outlet is 30mm, the bore is probably around 26mm.

yeah im curious as well... i thought VM30s were not available as flange mount... i would prefer them to be since i want alloy, not rubber, intake flanges.

I have a set. Theyre at Richs though. As far as I can tell, they are the real deal. They are very different than a standard VM but they appear to be 30mm.

hmm.... im just going to stick with the standard vm, mostly because im sick of cancelling orders.
