CB350 Built by a teen (Weld Now, Grind Later)

Harlequin Romance? Sorry Beav, couldn't help it. You're a good sport for taking so much of lil'Davey Poo's shit.

What are we going to do if this bike is ever built?

An unlikely event, but it would leave us without anywhere to loiter!

Crazy

christ, we might have to go outside and fix our own bikes......naaaaaaaah, my bike'd run away if i went near it with spanners again

I suppose it would be stupid of me to ask if there was any progress then? haha

Yes, actually. All of the pieces of his bike are back in one place, along with most of my fabrication equipment.

In one place.

With heat and electricity.

After some re-organizing and cleanup of the workspace, work on the bike will commence. Of course, a lot has to be done first, BUT, there is a real plan and a person (me) who is capable, comited and motivated to making forward progress. The biggest thing holding up general reassembly is the header, which can probably be finished up in a good working day.

I'm thinking Tim should have an award for longest thread with totally unrelated content ;D

Start a new thread for it then, so Tim can KILL this one. Ugh.

Just don't build that little fucker's bike for him...

I call first dibs when the towel is thrown and his bike is parted out. That 350 has some good shit.

Man... Beave wasn't kidding when he told me this thread got revived from the dead. It's been a hectic break working on the car, but aside from an easy wiring quirk it is DONE for the time being (it's not actually done, but it's not leaking oil as fast as I can pour it anymore and it is reliable enough that I don't have to worry about long drives). Beave and I dropped the front subframe, changed gaskets, installed a new cylinder head, and went megajolt. The 2002 is screaming now. As The Beave said, things are being shuffled around. Lots of things to move, chuck, and sell. Working on it right now. The CA100 is getting painted and assembled and out of the way asap. I'll leave you all to guess whats going to become of the 350. I can't believe this thread has over 100,000 views... I guess you guys couldn't just let it die ;)

I'm attending school locally. Went from failing to straight A's (okay, I got one B+ last semester). Set up my schedule this semester so I have some more wrench time. Not much "fun" aside from wrenching... My life consists of a few good friends who I see on occasion, my girlfriend, my education, my job, and my car and bikes. Not much else. Included in the cut was this forum, hence my absence. I've come to realize most anyone outside of my close knit circle of friends are people who hold me back in life so I simply cut them out.

That's all for now. I have things to do.

Nope. I don't know how to. I don't really want to. I just like welding headers and making custom doohickies. I've never owned a bike, nor likely will, but I sure like working on them!

That's not gonna happen. LOL!

This is how the movie would end, as the laptop closes.
