CB360 - Monoshock Brat

I cut the threaded end of the stock mirror off because is was the only thing I had lying around that would screw into the spot that bolts the brake fluid reservoir down. It was pretty ugly sticking up by itself so I added a compass to it.

That, sir, is ridiculous, and I thoroughly approve!

That compass is so funny it cant help but be COOL. Im telling you...to be a 360 owner you have to posses a slightly off the wall sense of humor.

+1 Many people keep telling me that when i get done building my 360 I will need to find a bigger bike, lol. Why?

Nice bike!

Blocking in where I want lights and turn signals to go. I'm not really diggin the dual mini gages. Anyone want to trade both for a larger single tach or speedo? They're new.

Is that a voltage meter under the bars? If so check this out, it's a little LED indicator that changes color depending on the voltage. Super clean.

My buddy got one for his Gixxer and it's really slick. I ended up picking one up too, Im gonna ditch the plastic housing and install it in a custom dash or maybe the headlight bucket.

That is pretty slick, but I really want to know what my voltage is. Call me crazy but I'm always curious about how much power its putting out.

OK... new design is complete. This one include a digital voltmeter that gives a readout of the current voltage being supplied by your battery or charging system.

And you can charge your phone, too.

Cool! but very big. I like the small volmeter I currently have. Just need to find a good place to stash it.

Still offering the mini gagues for a trade of some kind if anyone is interested.

Instrument dashboard maybe?

I like it. Should pull the gauges closer in behind the headlight. Looks good.

Just read this online and I thought i would share.

"Law of Mechanical Repair - Once your hands become coated in grease your nose will begin to itch and you'll have to pee. "

The tail light I bought came with a license plate bracket. I modified it to hold my turns signals as well under the seat. It's a little crooked at the moment. I'll make the final bends after I mount the rig in place.

I know this sounds like a dumb question. What would be the best bit to do the gauge cutouts? Is your mount aluminum? I have a nice sheet of Stainless and would like to do something similar but am limited on certain tool availability.

Thanks,
Gary

Use a hole saw with a cordless drill, normal drill will spin too fast and burn teeth off
Don't buy the real cheap multi blade type, they don't work on metal

You really want a carbide hole saw for stainless, but they don't come cheap.

What ever type of hole saw you use on stainless, spray liberal amounts of WD-40 on the blade/surface.

This helps keep the teeth cool, and aids in getting the removed material out of the way.

I cut a lot of holes in stainless w the 18v Dewalt drill. They are a bit pricey.

Jancy Slugger Carbide hole saws are the best for cutting holes in stainless. Anchorlube is available from fasteners inc. its the best cutting fluid.
