Cr80 4stroke?

Thanks, between needing all new bearings in the suspension and wheels, tires and plastics I don't think it'll be ready to ride till next year. But I found an all black set of plastics so I'm thinking about getting the frame powdercoated yellow. Maybe do some red graphics for honda and get some custom stickers made to say CR120F just to keep people confused.

Lol, the triumph lump I actually picked up on offerup a few months back for $75. It's a 73 T120R. I actually messaged the guy to ask if the price was right. I couldn't pass it up at the price.

Cradle is done, downtube has fishplates, and engine is back in. Next is to make a front mount, and a new brace for above the engine.

So far I am very happy with the swag portaband stand. Very useful, and much more cost effective than a full size bandsaw.

WOW! thats quite the score! Not to thread jack, but what are the plans for it? cliche i know, but those have to be one of the best looking bobber lumps ever made imho...
 
Not 100% sure. I'm not a big bobber fan, too many lower back issues from the army. I might use my single sided swingarm and fork with it just annoy the purists.

Back on topic, the motor mounts are done, cradle is done, neck brace is done. Waiting on seals for the rear shock, then I can throw the subframe on and work on the intake. While I wait I have the seals and bushings for the forks.

Nice job. Looks like you left room enough on top to pull the top end while the engine is in the frame? That's always been one of my annoyances with the xr200. Can't pull a head without pulling the motor.

Probably won't be abke to get the head off, but I should be able to get the valve cover off. I don't want to have to pull the motor to adjust valves.
 
While I wait on parts for the suspension I finally got around to modding my parts washer. It's the standard harbor freight 20 gallon, but now the solvent isn't stored in the tank. I cut out most of the shelf to make room for 2 home depot buckets. The inner bucket has a bunch of holes drilled in the bottom so gunk will settle into the bottom bucket away from the pump. A 2" hole was drilled into the bottom of the tank to install a drain. The pump was upgraded to a little giant solvent rated pump. So with those changes you have more room to work, won't lose parts in gunk at the bottom of the tank, and the fluid is cleaner for longer.

Very cool! I may have to do the same in mine! Can you put a stopper on the drain in case you want to fill up the tank to let things soak? maybe a ball valve in the pvc?
 
Thanks. Later I might add a filter, but I'm not sure yet.

I finally got the new seals for the rear shock so it's full of fluid and has damping now. Once it's riding and I see how soft it is I might upgrade the spring and get a gold valve.

Forks rebuilt. Bushings and seals were done for, and they were nasty inside. Gotta get some goo gone or something to get the stickers off. Tried heat gun, but they are so old and brittle little pieces break off.

While I wait on the extra slow post office I got around to hanging all the lights in my garage. Now if they are all turned on I have an advertised 40k lumens. 2 10k lights run off the switch, then 4 5k lights one over the mill, lathe, washer/blaster, and work bench.

Lol, it's an atlas th42 that I swapped onto a 54" bed. Picked it up 5 almost 6 years ago for $500. I've used it a ton since then. I could wish for a quick change, but they are spendy and for the investment I'd be better off getting a bigger lathe. I'd love a 14-16x40. I've turned so decent sized pieces on this one.
