I'd look at dimming that blue light as well. Can you throw a couple more resistors at it? Maybe hit the lens with a black texta (or paint)? I'd get confused if I switched colours : Green is always neutral, blue is hi-beam. It's an unwritten law of the cosmos mate. Mess with it at your peril :-\

Contrats on the new bike!, few things to get sorted out but she's a looker for sure!
On that shift lever, is it bent now and you want to put it back where it belongs or are you wanting to bend it to have it lower than stock? Can you swap the lever from your other CX to see if it is tweeked a little? MAybe instead of reshapeing the lever you could raise the footpeg a tad?
