Jason, I'm going now, but my bike in no way is a cafe racer. I haven't read the whole thread but you're only looking for cafe bikes, right?

We are indeed trying to keep the focus on the more traditional 'cafe racer' style for the judged show.

Things are really starting to shape up - it's gonna be a blast for sure.

For those people who have entered bikes in the show it would be great if during the day on Saturday every once in a while you could be milling around the show bikes, answering questions about your bike to what will be thousands and thousands of people.

Well due partially to the fact that my wife thinks her best chance to meet/leave me for brian fuller is in that area, I guess ill be spending a lot if time around there can we buy beer there?

They don't sell beer there, but you can certainly bring beer there! I think we will have a god place to stash a cooler! ;-)

I seen the banner but thought the event was else where.Tim just pointed out that it is in AL.I was thinking New England area.( Where's the head slap smiley?) I really need to get out more.I stay in the build sections drooling over ya'lls bikes.If I had more time I would load n go.I'll plan fur next year and see how things are by then.Heck,I may even have a cafe racer by then.

Yeah Mike, me too, I was looking forward to meeting so many of you this year and that was really the highlight of the trip for me. That is what I hate to miss the most.

Tim, we are moving to Panama City, FL. Not really much further from Bham. I will be there next year, just hit a speed bump this year.

Well this news sucks, but: I will be unable to make it to Barber this year due to me and my wife moving and buying a new house. We close on the house just a few days before Barbers begins and will be moving that weekend. I have made an agreement with my old landlord that I would be out by the 10th and as long as I am, he is not going to charge me any rent for the month. I am really upset about missing this event, but it just was not meant to be. With all that I have going on right now, there is just no way for me to make it.

Damn little Bro, that sucks!

I mean, I'm happy about the house and congrats and all, but you are one of the guys I was most looking forward to seeing again this year. And I was hoping to meet the missus. :'(

So is Alex gonna solo up, or is he bailing too?

Maybe I can persuade Kelly to make a vacation to Florida this summer.

Well, my plan have changed again, still coming, only caging it, family in tow, for less time, but still coming. My wife managed (we think) to get Friday, Tues, Wed off (Mon is A Hoilday here) so we pulled the little guy out of school and we are going to drive like mad and arrive late Friday night and stay until Monday, then drive like mad back. It is 24 hours so we hope to do 8-10 Thursday after work, then finish the 14-16 Friday. It will cost us a few dollars more, but thanks to the folks who have helped already we should have the credit room to do it.
