I got a ?... can i put in all the bikes i have built this year or just the cafe... i guess there is not many, just the Harley, her bobber, and the TX... only the ones i have built for myself... the ones for customers i dont want to add... let me know... if it is mainly cafe that is cool... my new tins should be here early next week and the TX will finally get a shake down!

You do have a lot of cool bikes. I would say for the book though lets keep it to cafes, unless Noel and the DTT Team feels otherwise. No offense. Just an FYI to everyone..If you have more than one cafe thats even better. Send them in! -MBS
 
cool sounds good... ill just do the TX then... i will also toss in my wifes 250 bobber build i did on here... i know she would be stoked to have her bike in a book on our table :)
Ill leave the rest out, besides the harleys and chops would be a bit out of place... i love all the vinage builds on this site!
 
Carpy - awesome photo's! Looks like you have a bigger shop now!

I'm heading into the garage this weekend to make my bike look purty for photos and I'll do my write up.
 
I am going ninety to nothing trying to get my bike back together in time to get my pics in. The deadline is looming! My goal as soon as this book was announced was to get my bike done and in there! It gets no cooler than someone sitting in your living room flipping through the book on your table and they're like " That bike's like yours..." and you're all like "That is my bike."
Anyway I've said it before, but this is a great thing! I just hope I can get my bike ready for pics by Sept. 1...

Nothing like waiting til the last minute. I spent all day yesterday trying to tie up all of the loose ends, and getting my 750 all put back together. On my way now to take some pictures. I should have everything posted this evening! I'll get some pics put on the forum too.
 
Alas, it appears as though I'm not going to make it. There's always the second edition I suppose. I could throw it all together for a mockup shot, but my tins wouldn't be painted and I don't wanna have a half assed bike in the book. Cue the sad music... :'(
 
I still may sneak mine in... maybe a day late ;) taking my alloy tanik in for polishing tomorrow.
 
I got my files loaded! Are we going to be notified if our bike is selected to be in the book? This has to be one of the best ideas I've seen on any of the forums that I frequent.
 
Went like crazy this week to get things done. It's uploaded now and I'm looking forward to this book, can't wait.

I'm in the same boat as you...Sad day, but hopefully it'll bring the 2nd Edition.

UNLESS YOU GUYS EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR ANOTHER WEEEEEEK :D

hmm. i won't be making the deadline. piled into the side of a car, and paying for their repaint used all my bike money for a while. also doing some more headlight and seat surgery to refine the vision.
hopefully there's enough bikes to make an awesome book though.
