I am so ready for alabama. Putting the finishing touches on my trailer my fingers have gone painfully numb. Its 47 freakin degrees, overcast and windy here. Jesus why do I live here?

Yup, feels a little like winter here in Ontario this weekend. :p

Like many of you, we're putting the finishing touches on our trailer. Getting packed up on Tuesday, leaving Wednesday evening. Gonna shoot some video of the trip down. :D

Gang... we can't wait! We're sooo ready for this! 8)

Even here I'm keeping it warm for you guys. I have a feeling it will be chilly which is perfect!

Shop zilla is ready.

It's great to have some friends from the Toronto area coming down this year :) Looking forward to some fun.

We'll have to sync up on the travel plans back north. Kemp and I usually stop somewhere on the way back, get the bikes out and go for at least a couple hours of riding. First year we stopped at Deals Gap, last year we zipped over towards the Wheels Through Time museum and rode a bit on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Would love to take the XS on the Cherohala Skyway but this time of year it gets bloody chilly up in the hills - the Skyway goes WAY up there.

Tellico Plains is a nice little town and there's a great gear shop there. It's at the one end of the Cherohala.

Here is another reason to not miss this year's GTG at Barber's.
(As if everything posted here so far wasn't reason enough.)

Well, I think those are VERY good reasons all by themselves!!

Shop looks great Kiley! Can't wait.

Looking forward to a chilly ride down. Leaving Wed morning, riding into the mountains, onto the Cherohala Skyway (since I missed it when I broke my clutch cable in Robbinsville a couple years ago), camping out somewhere near Tellico Plains, then onto Moody Thursday.

You gonna be around the house all day Thursday Kiley?

I wish we could hook up for a leisurely trip home. :p

We'll be leaving Birmingham Monday morning and I need to be at work Tuesday morning in Mississauga. Somehow we hafta fit 20 hours of driving in between. :p There will be more than a few "Caff-pow" stops along the way!! ;D ;D

Ohh the things to do to take your mind off barber

Drewski - who do you refer to when you say "we"? You and the Mrs?

Last year Justin Longhorn and myself were up pretty late Sunday night, but left at 3 or 4 Monday morning. The first couple hours were the toughest (until Justin took the wheel :D )

All packed up and ready to go. Except for the tent.... And sleeping bags...... And clothes..... And beer........

Ok, maybe I'm not ready. :(

Flug, I'm bringing an extra tent that I don't plan on using. And a cot or hammock. My wife bought me a Hennesey Hammock but I want to bring down some extra camping stuff "just in case".

I'm good. I've got a big tent for me and my dad. We are bringing his Tahoe and trailer. We will fit it all in.

I'd like a "test ride" of your Hennessey, I've been considering a purchase.
