It's great to have some friends from the Toronto area coming down this year
Looking forward to some fun.We'll have to sync up on the travel plans back north. Kemp and I usually stop somewhere on the way back, get the bikes out and go for at least a couple hours of riding. First year we stopped at Deals Gap, last year we zipped over towards the Wheels Through Time museum and rode a bit on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Would love to take the XS on the Cherohala Skyway but this time of year it gets bloody chilly up in the hills - the Skyway goes WAY up there.
Tellico Plains is a nice little town and there's a great gear shop there. It's at the one end of the Cherohala.

Looking forward to a chilly ride down. Leaving Wed morning, riding into the mountains, onto the Cherohala Skyway (since I missed it when I broke my clutch cable in Robbinsville a couple years ago), camping out somewhere near Tellico Plains, then onto Moody Thursday.

I wish we could hook up for a leisurely trip home.
We'll be leaving Birmingham Monday morning and I need to be at work Tuesday morning in Mississauga. Somehow we hafta fit 20 hours of driving in between.
There will be more than a few "Caff-pow" stops along the way!! ;D ;D
