I have one extra sleeping bag anyone can borrow if they don't have one or don't have room to pack one on their bike. Just let me know.

I just checked, because it was 45 and raining here : : http://weather.weatherbug.com/AL/Birmingham-weather/local-forecast/7-day-forecast.html?zcode=z6286Fix said:I bought frikken longjohns today for the ride down. This cold is ridiculous. 850 mile ride in 50 degree temps. It'd better warm up a bit.
Wasn't it 80 last year during the day?
Me too! I'm going a little more ghetto with a hammock and Harbor Freight tarp.4eyes said:I'd like a "test ride" of your Hennessey, I've been considering a purchase.
It will start to warm up by Wednesday. The nights will be chilli however, but hey Kiley's got a wood stove now. WhooohoooFix said:I bought frikken longjohns today for the ride down. This cold is ridiculous. 850 mile ride in 50 degree temps. It'd better warm up a bit.

Hightly contemplated it haha! Then I eyed a Deuce and a half too.. I think that would have been sufficient enough to haul the 350f, HA! and the 750 when i win that too.. Just sayin.

I'm trying to figure out if I can save cash on a motel by finding some free camping on the way down Wednesday night. I figure I can make it down to Tennessee by nightfall, so that's where I'm scouting.
Anyone live near I-75 in Tennessee that can point me in the right direction?
.....and they lived happily ever after. ;-)CCRider said:Hey Fix,
I'm planning on camping at Hiwassee Ocoee State Park near Benton, TN Wed night. Not too far from I-75. Would be glad to have you join me (we may need to spoon to keep warm )

Last year Justin Longhorn and myself were up pretty late Sunday night, but left at 3 or 4 Monday morning. The first couple hours were the toughest (until Justin took the wheel )
