I have one extra sleeping bag anyone can borrow if they don't have one or don't have room to pack one on their bike. Just let me know.

I'd like a "test ride" of your Hennessey, I've been considering a purchase.

You got it buddy. While I haven't slept in it yet, it is far more stable than a regular hammock. And people seem to love them........

I'm in trouble. I already can't sleep. Watched that video twice and now I'm even more pumped. Thanks for posting it Eddie!
Can't wait to see everyone!!!!!

I bought frikken longjohns today for the ride down. This cold is ridiculous. 850 mile ride in 50 degree temps. It'd better warm up a bit.

Wasn't it 80 last year during the day?

Me too! I'm going a little more ghetto with a hammock and Harbor Freight tarp.

Nice, I know Thomas has a tent for me to borrow. I packed a good sleeping bag.
I'm trying to figure out if I can save cash on a motel by finding some free camping on the way down Wednesday night. I figure I can make it down to Tennessee by nightfall, so that's where I'm scouting.

Anyone live near I-75 in Tennessee that can point me in the right direction?

Getting the packing done tonight and tomorrow, then cleaning the bike Wednesday. Going to be pretty awesome! I'm excited, almost bought a pit bike this weekend when i went to a wedding. Hightly contemplated it haha! Then I eyed a Deuce and a half too.. I think that would have been sufficient enough to haul the 350f, HA! and the 750 when i win that too.. Just sayin.

Yeah, but the gas cost to bring my 750 all the way up to Michigan would be horrible! ;)

True, true.

Hey Fix,

I'm planning on camping at Hiwassee Ocoee State Park near Benton, TN Wed night. Not too far from I-75. Would be glad to have you join me (we may need to spoon to keep warm ;))

How far into TN do you think you will make it? Also, if you have a smart phone check out an ap called Campwhere. It has info on every national, state and county camping area in the country and will display them on a map.

So.... today I spent some time getting the bike ready :)

Got my 34 tooth sprocket back on - just fit with a few mm of chain adjustment (had a 30t sprocket on and had shortened the chain). I was surprised the chain was still long enough - happily surprised!

Bench synced the carbs, topped up the oil (looks like I have a bit of a tach seal leak) and she's good to go. Might do some tuning of the carbs tomorrow. Can't wait to see how much faster it accelerates with the 34t rear back on it. I had put the 30 on to lower the RPM and try to reduce vibe on the highway, but now that I built it a rephased 750cc motor and put the taller 5th gear on it, I'm going back to the 34.

Might lift the Suzuki 4LS front wheel just yet!

Drewski - who do you refer to when you say "we"? You and the Mrs?

Last year Justin Longhorn and myself were up pretty late Sunday night, but left at 3 or 4 Monday morning. The first couple hours were the toughest (until Justin took the wheel :D )

Nope, not "Mrs. Drewski"... my brother, Seaglider, is my "partner" for the weekend. ;) :D

It's gonna be around 2:00am when we get back home. The shop opens at 8am. I hope I can sleep the last leg of the journey. Tuesday's gonna be a loooooonngggg day! :D

That's right, I remember you saying that now.

John, I searched for that app and couldn't find it. Is there another name for it or anything?
