Everyone please be careful in your travels to Alabama today because the weather has really gone down hill since the original forecast of 20% rain it's now pretty much every where in North Alabama and some times very heavy.
I will be headed that way myself later thi afternoon. So it should be some what better by then.

Wife remembered this morning that I'd said in March I wanted to go to 'bama
Next year for sure though, going to start planning now.
I probably wouldn't be much fun, the epidural I had has worn off and my back is hurting like hell

on another note please try to make Barbers next year. on several levels you of all people should be there.
I spent 2 hours on a post this am but by the time I went to post it I had timed out and lost it all. I was not happy because it was pretty heartfelt and hard to repeat it.
anyhow I just wanted to thank everyone for such a fantastic time. you think year after year it can't get any better, can't gain more family, can't have more fun etc. But it does. So thank each each h and everyone there for making this year incredible. I also want to thank any of those who I got to wrench with. It was truley an honor. It was so awesome to meet and become friends with so many incredible people. You all have no idea how hard it was to leave this morning.
major thank you to Kiley and Denise for the hospitality and to all the other ladies and gentleman who bought and cooked food(absolutely delicious BTW) and to those who made my week one of the best of my life. Reminded yet once again its probably more about the people than it is about the bikes. thank you all. Can't wait for next year

My bike is not transportation, it is a respite
Holy crap what an amazing weekend. I can barely keep my eyes open, I am running on fumes. I have a long list of thanks yous for all of the help on my bike but I will try and do that in PMs when I wake up. I didn't get many shots of all the work this weekend do if you have pics please post them here or in the build thread. I don't even have a pic to show how far we got. As Troy said none of this could be possible without Kiley and Denise and Jared and his wife. For some reason they take care of us degenerates like we were family (that they actually like).
The bikes, the races, the noise, the beer, the food, the shine, the parts, the smells, but most importantly the friends. That's why this weekend was amazing.
Ugh, I'm literally falling asleep as I type this. Could be the belly full of famazing jumbalaya.
