You sir, are tragically mistaken... we are a ruthless pack of degenerate baby killers and chaosmongers who willstop at nothing short of complete destruction of all things sacred or honorable to humanity.... ok maybe not;)

You're cruisin' for a specialty haircut when you're passed out drunk. You don't mess with my food.

I was just thinking about shaving my head in response to both of you.

Always a good time in Alabama and honestly, I'm just glad to get off the farm. I'll go along with what ever you all chose. I know I'm easy ;) I do think it would be cool, or better, to everyday park a different BOTM or one that the members in attendance chooses, into that (or a) high visibility parking spot, instead of one attention hog like last year. Actually in her defense, Tim pulled rank and asked for her to be park there. So maybe if not a bike, maybe we can set up a female sword swallower or some random fetish act to try to get people to slow down on their way thru.
So anyhow, I do owe at least one day of work from last year. I was signed up to work but found out at the last minute my son, who was living 14 hours away from us at the time and hardly ever got to see, asked to come hang out with me that day. He was living next state over in Mississippi. Hope you all forgive me. Counting down the days...

This may be a bit early, but I am considering heading to barber this year, so what are the must see and dos, and is it worth it to bring one of my bikes or is it beter to have a car there ( are there part venders and swaps)?

Well, I am not about to read through 16 pages of posts right away. I have gone the last several years in a row and I'll be headed there a few days early this year.

1. The museum is a MUST see as least once. It changes every once in a while, so twice would allow you to see nearly everything, but no need to cram that into the same trip.

2. There is a swap meet...and vendors...and an auction. Those are all awesome if you want stuff or not!!

3. Bringing a bike is fun if you wanna ride, NOT IF YOU WANNA BUY! You can get pretty good parking if you are on a bike too, but that should be the least of your worries. My dad and I are taking our bikes up this year and my wife and mom are gonna take the SUV with a trailer. Best of both worlds! Anyways, there are some amazing roads to ride up there, hence why I am going a few days early. Riding Thursday and Friday, races on Saturday, and riding on Sunday.

4. The races. There are a bunch. Check the schedule. The side car races are super cool, but I think they are cutting those out soon. If they are here again this year, go see them. Other than that, go for the faster races. The 100 year old bikes are cool to look at and it is amazing they can still be raced...but look SOOOO SLOW on the track.

Anyways...have fun!

Just read all 16 pages....Whew. Last year was great so I purchased my tix the day they went on sale this year. Me, my dad and brother will be there with our bikes and I can't wait. For anyone trying to decide whether or not to buy a ticket for riding on the track...Totally worth it.

You came by my place Meltdown weekend. Looking forward to seeing ya again, fella!

Guess the prior Barber thread got deleted. I was looking for something on it, but it ain't there.

We postponed the wedding - too much to do right now, but still planning to be there. Gonna give ourselves more time for a nice slow run through the mountains this year. (well, maybe not ALL that slow ;) )

What I meant to say, is you seem like an alright bunch for a group of baby-killing puppy-kickers. :)
